Live Exchange of Fire at Buruburu

At least five people have been confirmed dead following a shoot-out in Buruburu, Nairobi, between police officers and suspected gangsters. One police officer, three suspected gangsters and a civilian caught in the crossfire, lost their lives. In scenes rekindling memories of the Wild West, drama ensued after one of the gangsters locked himself inside a house belonging to a police officer, forcing the police to camp outside the house for hours as they exchanged gunfire. He was later shot dead. Citizen TV was at the scene and brings you pictures of the shoot-out drama.

(Joke) If the police come for you in Nairobi then the only way to avoid a terrible beating if you have no money is to suddenly start punching yourself full in the face as hard as you can repeatedly, taking great care in NOT stopping. Why? Well, the cops will look at each other, put their batons away, and say "Well fair enough, he IS cooperating"!!!!!

The gunmen had no choice.Shooting at police is an almost unofficial automatic death sentence in most parts of africa. If they surrender and they have not got BIG MONEY to bribe their way out, then surrendering means days of terrible torture with them being sodomised by police batons, getting their balls busted flat, smashed in teeth and face and finally (IF they survive all that) of being thrown in the most terrible of jails.
