Obama Credits McCain on Health Care Plan

President Barack Obama is including a proposal from Sen. John McCain, his Republican rival last year, as part of his health care reform plan. Obama said he wants to help those who can't get insurance because of pre-existing medical conditions. (Sept. 9)

Utilities are privately owned yet heavily regulated. Private toll roads are (in most cases) profitable and require no tax dollars. Public roads are built by private companies. You didn't mention it but mail delivery could be privatized based on UPS and FedEX success with package delivery.

Why not try full public and full privatization of health care on a small scale and compare the results? RI vs. MD or something like that.
