Built from a kit, this vehicle can be charged either by a solar array or wall outlet charger. Has a cruising speed of 40mph and burst speed of 50mph. This video was taken at Wells College 8th annual activism symposium in Aurora, NY March 27th,2009. It has since had the side lights removed and a front light added to meet New York State registration regulations. It now has a plate and is legal to drive in New York State.

  • Hard to say. In terms of electric consumption. Although I CAN accelerate quickly, it eats up range so I usually don't.

    In terms of usage, my typical drive is around 12km. Speed to keep up with traffic is usually 30-40mph on slightly hilly terrain with some stop & go. That trip usually means the batteries will charge in about 8 hours on a 72W plug-in charger.
