  • I hope you know that hyperextension is actually considered a very beautiful thing in ballet and to be hyperextended is really a gift...

  • That's not necessarily true. I personally think it's the new hotness, but classicists think it's garish or tacky. I've even heard people criticize Guillem for it.

I was a little opposed to the slight pause in the music they built in to accomodate her "stunting", but it was still really impressive and she didn't overplay it too too much.

  • 1th?

  • @IHEARTDANCE28 yeah that's exactly what my friend said

  • @prossimamente I agree.. she has problems with her en dehors, I found it surprising.. Didnt know hyper extension brought that.. I enjoyed the performance though :) dont get me wrong! :)

  • BEAUTIFUL!!

  • @abbysfrennd40 yea this is true! I am hyperextended and when I was a ballet dancer, turns were a big weakness for me!

  • Look at her demi-plie and at her first position pas-par-terre in the italian-fouettes.. her turn-out is not genuine.. if only she work without using always that super-high extensions, you could clearly see her lack of turnout
