Challenger SRT8 vs. Mustang GT

Mustang red lights (by .005), but the Mustang still had a faster time... but not by much.

Challenger SRT8 I'm sure is stock. Sounded like an automatic from the video.

Mustang GT has an intake/tune and 4.10 gears. It is also an automatic.

So you're telling me you can't tell if a car is auto or manual by listening to it?

Uhh. Yeah obviously transmissions don't make noise, but if you can't tell an automatic from a manual when it shifts then that is pretty sad. Listen @ 0:10, you can clearly hear the Challenger shifting as an auto.

I bought a new 2010 auto GT & SRT8 4 months ago. Ran them both at the track.

GT = 1/8 8.75@82.3 1/4 13.49@104.2

SRT8 = 1/8 8.50@84.7 1/4 13.15@105.9

Now I want to put 4.10 gears in the GT(wife's car).

The SRT8 has a tune now. Made 2 1/8 runs; 8.28@89 & 8.08@92

thats a pretty good 1/8th pass for a stock GT. That Challenger should have run a mid 8 if it was an SRT8 though.
