@GoGoGadgetBeer yeah but these days people are really stingy when it comes to production costs, so if it takes more material to make it do three modes instead of two and costs more money, most people would rather save money for themselves and just say screw everyone else

I find it really ironic that in 1985 they could make transformers that had robot AND vehicle modes AND combine into a giant robot, but they couldn't pull it off with this guy in 2009 where we have better technology. WTF?!

The flip up cab is so you can put legends figures and other random things in his mouth and they fall out the back, giving the lame illusion that they were eaten.
