Mortal Kombat Casuals (05/05/11)

This was recorded May 5th 2011. Got a chance to play on the Peaceful Jay stream for a bit and had some fun. GGs to everyone I played.

Please remember this was a while back and I've improved quite a bit. I don't do as much unsafe shit with Mileena (well against good people), I try to actually do other stuff instead of up + 4 into combo or back + 3 into combo every time, and I don't play as aggressive anymore since I think Mileena is a decent turtle and really all those jump in punches are unsafe. I just get used to people not punishing them.

As for Quan Chi, I've pretty much dropped him. It's pretty hard to use him online because of the lag and you'll see me drop a bunch of combos in this video. First two rounds against Sindel I don't even think I got a single trance to connect.

I've picked up Sektor and really want to make him my main since he's my favorite character in the series but lag makes it really hard plus I've had a hard time adjusting from his UMK3 version.

Until the game is patched, I'll probably stick with Mileena and use Sektor when I get bored. But expect to see some more Sektor.
