Yeah, Set your engine up right and you won't have to trim the thing right up. I have a 12'8" race boat with 60 hp that would outrun that cause its set up right. But its still a cool boat (just wouldn't want your fuel bill lol)

i disagree,, ive owned lots of John/rudes, those old V8s made 275-300 hp depending on which model,, the Merc also makes 300, but the old Omc V8 is Heavy as shit,, lot heavier than the merc,, i still like Johnson/rudes better,,, now i own a yamaha,, lol,, price was right,
