well nobody waited untill the jet was gonna reach the top speed. it proves acceleration of the fastest roling object vs relatively fast flying object's acceleration from 0 to the finish line.

hmmm...perhaps a slight horsepower difference...at supersonic speeds it produces over a 100,000 horsepower...and with all the damn rule changes F1 cars are down to 800 something...this pretty much proves nothing...but i love them both

i Think wht he is trying to say is to do when the jet is in mid air. but the reality is tht everybody knows tht no matter jet it is, the jet will always win in mid air.

Haha don't mind my name, but i love F1, i wish they didnt have soo many rules governing all these restricitons to how far the technology will allow them to go. They are only allowed V8's now, despite the aerodynamics i was suprised to find out that a F1 car weighs in as much as a normal car (about 1400Kgs) well its the same as my car anyhow...

Obviously, a supersonic jet is faster than any car BUT a F1 or any high-performance car has a better acceleration than any airplane.

I am working on being a pilot, but grammar like that just doesn't seem to belong to a pilot considering you have to go to school for 4 years minimum.

so you're saying that a F1 car can turn going 300~400 mph? I guess you're right with enough down force. Those things could drive upside down with enough speed (and if the track were floating in the air, upside down.
