  • KMC makes an 11speed powerlink type connector for Campy chains....

  • Thought this was a useful video, how close do we need to get. Methodical sequence which is similar to the Record 10 vid but with the extra peeling of the rivet at the end.

Have read on forums that the SRAM link makes a noise as it goes round the chain after a while. Advised to stick with Campag throughout. With regards to lipstick comment, isn't the chain lighter and smoother to run? All the best!

  • is it ok to use sram powerlink instead?? campy tool is waaaay to expensive

  • @worldonastrng basically if you don't know how to measure chain length, you should be messing about with Campy 11

  • this video was modified by the person who posted it, they turned the italian off. i appreciate the fact that campy is not made in china and the quality is always excellent. i don't mind paying a little more for solid quality and not made in china. keep up the good work campy.

  • I was hoping to see detail of chain length technique. Not helpful.

  • Yu would think for a $300 chain tool campy could at least have a vid with some sound. This company keeps cutting corners in everything they do lately. No innovation, just hiher prices for the same stuff dressed up with some lipstick. Still the poorest shifting system of Shimano, SRAM and Campy.

  • i thought it was ok for most, and while its nice if you have a campy tool, i've been doing their chains since 1983 with a park tool.just be careful.

  • No sound, no valid close ups, and, well, fairly lame. Most videos assume too much, as most folks that wish to install a chain know little or nothing about the topic, and need close ups, and detailed explination -- at least to feel secure about what they're doing. Did you know that you must (or should only) use only a campy chain breaker (the tool the guy is using in the video) when installing a campy chain? You don't have to, but then again why ruin a great chain by using a park tool? Cheers
