After many, many, MANY attempts I am unable to defeat Valsu, who stole the Sky Rune. He is just too strong for me at this time. So it's on to other things. Prosa, the commander of the soldiers in Padal, has the Moon Rune. He returned to his home town of Palosu so it's off to find him. Once there we learn of the evil Serpent who is stealing the children of the village to eat them. If I can defeat the Serpent Prosa will give me the Moon Rune.

  • so for some reason the king Polasu did not give me the moon rune?!? i did not speak with him before defeating the lobster chick and when i go to talk with him he just says something about a celebration.

  • 9. I attack and do over 200+ damage, killing Lejes in one shot.

The key to winning is B Agility.

  • Or not!! Hehe, here's what I did to win (if anyone needs help)... First off, I was using a Level 27 Kamil with Fear for the sword, Courage for the Armor, and Brill for the shield. Opening of the battle (against Lejes) 1. I use B Agility 2. Lejes use defense down...doesn't work. 3. I use Star Rune 4. Lejes uses defense down...again, doesnt work. 5. I use B Power. 6. Lejes uses defense down...still doesnt work. 7. I use Defend. 8. Lejes uses defense down...FINALLY connects.
  • I found Lejes in Belaine with the Sky Rune...still stuck on him...

  • Tailz my man i totally agree with you, those sages and ccocoons are relally difficult too but when i played this all those years ago i used to dread those flames! Even to this day years later when i saw you encounter that one a chill went down my spine

  • i'm surprised that any of you were at such low lvls when you got that far... maybe it's because i played through the ummm, bone to gowaine thing a bit differently, as i played as lux... the enemies surrounding patrof were an immediate brick wall for me, mutants, and coccoons galore.... so i just grinded my ass off and got to like... lvl 50+ and nothing ever bothered lux very much after that, XD...

p.s. i'm about to face Gorsia at lvl 73 with lux and valsu, it's going to be a blast, i bet!

  • yeah valsu can truely be a real (insert random "b" swear here)

  • the way i killed him was, since he buffs himself with defense and power and then does attacks after taht he starts spamming spells which is certain death. my first move is attack him get his hp down a bit before he uses defense, after that i buff myself with power, he buffs, next i defend, he melee attacks me, then i hit him once and he dies, note i was lvl 24 and used the Fire sword, 2 hits owns him. if he doesnt dodge

  • I quit playing this game because Valsu stole the Sky Rune. I couldn't so much as put a dent in him before he wiped me out.

  • It is easier to defeat Valsu, if you have Ice Cloak item, that gives you protection from Valsu's Ice1 spell, also F.Shield-spell helps you a lot, but yes, the Power-spell and attack works at start.

And the rune you did see on right, it was Bilthem.

You get the Cloak Of Ice from Baran castle.
