there is a problem with the economy in the Trib. The horses in the seal judgments bring hiper inflation, starvation & disease as well as war and death. Peace and safety is for the elite I suspect and the problems most likely blamed on the two witnesses since the entire world celebrates with gift giving at their death.

@slkjaklmk true. But that will likely not take place until after the rapture. I suspect this economic unity will take place after the next world war which will take place during the tribulation period.

Well when you have wars, rumors of wars, famine, pestilence , economic trouble kind of ties in. But the first thing Antichrist does is get peace in the middle east, then puts in place the economic system with mark of the beast. Which there will be property for him and those ruling but those that refuse the mark. Then Ezekiel 38 war and then they have scarcity of food and prices go thru the roof and that leads to final Armageddon when Jesus returns.

@AR15Truther2 I think God is first of all righteous. Remember He hates sin. He loves us regardless. But He's nobody fool. If we love sin, then we don't love Him. Meanwhile, He will do what He must to deliver those who do love Him - from those who don't.

As for Bronze Age modes of worship, don't let that ancient history get in your way of experiencing a personal connection w/ God in the NOW. You can't expect to think straight about God in any case, until you EXPERIENCE that personal connection.

I dunno. We're thinking things are about to fall apart. But, the way I understand it, the Bible predicts that countries in the end times will attain more unity - to the exclusion of Israel of course. So if the EU does fall apart - I expect it to be immediately replaced with a much larger and stronger sort of union - extending perhaps all the way to Iran and even China.
