Savspeed E46 M3 Turbo at the Drag Strip

The Savspeed E46 M3 Turbo posted a best ET of 12.280 over the quarter mile on its first outing despite a less-than-ideal launch. This was achieved at a lightly prepped track, with semi-slick tires but a fully laden vehicle and at an altitude of ~1500m. Location: Wesbank Raceway, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Yup, we know it will run 11s - things just weren't going our way on the night. And by the way, the rear tires are Yokohama grooved intermediates. We're quite happy with the exit speed at least.

You need better tires man, and if you have a stock LSD lose it and get a 40% lockup diff. That will run you in 11's...you just got bad traction.
