@MentalVizion lol i respect your opinion 100%. I've been listening to hardstyle for over 8 years now, i was listening to hard house before that. Real old school hardstyle brought out emotions, but not the cheesy ones like 'lose my mind' and 'let it go'. The reason why theres a revert back to the raw is because people want to feel a party, they want to feel pounding drum basslines. Melody wasnt the biggest component to hardstyle. It was the raw kick that made every one in the room go ape shit.
