  • Maybe they Do know His Name but took it out to protect it. The NAME that they took out YHWH is the Moshiach's name cause He has always said that only HE HaShem will save to people. YOUR WRITTINGS state this case that I claim.

  • @boltingpuppies But in the Septuagint translation into Greek, the Hebrew almah was erroneously rendered into the Greek parthenos, virgin, with the definite article 'ha' in Hebrew, and e in Greek, (the), rendered into the indefinite "a" by later falsifying translators.

  • @IamaZionistGoy "There is no mention of jman by name or otherwise in the Tanach." Yes there is. Specifically & by name.

I am not going to share it with you though. You are not open right now, as can be seen by your attitude. I discuss all things with all people who are open & respectful. Anything less is a waste of time.

You will be successful at denying every single verse one brings to you, now & in the future, as long as you do not want to know.

I hope one day you want to know.

  • @IamaZionistGoy The Tanakh did not foretell that Yeshua would "abrogate all the laws" & He most certainly did not do so.

He did not fail the 1st time & it *does say* He would come a 2nd time.

"In that day the Lord will *reach out his hand a second time* to reclaim the remnant that is left of his people..."-Isaiah11:11. "...so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation"-Hebrews9:28

  • @IamaZionistGoy good point! maybe Jman could have invented time travel!

  • @boltingpuppies Almah means simply a young woman, of marriageable age, whether married or not, or a virgin or not; in a broad general sense exactly like girl or maid in English, when we say shop-girl, parlor-maid, bar-maid, without reference to or vouching for her technical virginity, which, in Hebrew, is always expressed by the word bethulah.

  • @missile300

MOST importantly, is the fact that the Jews themselves interpreted this prophecy to be about a *literal virgin* giving birth. When the Jews of Alexander the Great's time were forced to translate their Hebrew scriptures to Greek *they* chose the Greek word *parthenos* which can ONLY mean virgin in Greek. Also, the Apostle, Matthew, said Mary became pregnant BEFORE she and Joseph came together and that Mary was with child 'of the Holy Spirit' (Matthew 1:18).

  • @Jimvesterstallone The word "Almah" means young woman, not virgin. Nowhere in Isaiah does it say virgin. That was a clear mistranslation, and only one of the many mistranslations that the Christian Old Testament has. You can't read prophecy from the Christian Old Testament. Things can only be understood by reading the original Hebrew Text.

  • @Jimvesterstallone well let me ask you somthing how could a what xtians think is a prophacy that happens approximitly 700 years later be a comfort for Ahaz?

  • @KingOystar With all due respect that is like saying the word is not cat, but feline, when they are both words for the same animal.

Almah means "virgin, young woman a) of marriageable age, b) maid or newly married."

    Bĕthuwlah *also* means "virgin."

Both words can mean virgin & if we look at their uses in Scripture, both words *are used* at times pertaining to virgins.

Also, Isaiah never pointed to any maiden & said "the maiden is with child." You are, perhaps w/out realizing, adding.
