The early 260 and 289 Cobras were sweet BUT the real deal was revealed with the 427 hi-rise was eventually offered. I remember reading a Motor Trend roadtest that described how they broke the rear wheels loose while power shifting into 4th gear at over 100 miles per hour!

@5H4V3D89 Dude you didn't miss it- U-TUBE got it here it was cool SOME of us were smart enough to get it down on film. Still a lot of these guys alive, hiding stuff in there old car-barns!!! I love talkin to old GEARHEADS ... I met a man & wife who rode the old Indian Motorcycles,back in the 50s They said they'd break out the old albums,and some good storys.

Do you have a 'line out' off your record player, record straight from the record player, rather than through a mike, which goes through the air and records all the extra noises. Maybe there is a headphones outlet? try that
