I dont care what people say, this still will be my favourite song. U2 shows us once again how music must be done.

  • So? U2 also wrote "Pride", "Bad, "One Tree Hill", "WHo´s gonna ride your wild horses", "ONe"....Radiohead also wrote "Pop Is Dead" and it´s doesn´t change the fact that they also wrote "Let DOwn", "Karma Police", "Everything in it´s right place"....you got me? Every band has their things...Even the Stones had their "Satanic Majestic´s Request"....U2´s POP it´s actually one of my favourite records, i think "Please" it´s one of their greatst lyrics. So it´s all relative man

  • U2 really should put out more live albums. That's when they are at their best.

  • @MegaPoone

This isn't a boot, but sure kid whatever.

  • This isn't the best performance of the song at all (it's still freaking insane though), but it boasts the greatest sound quality of them all. :)

  • When U2 wrote really great songs.

  • @MegaPoone good ones at least, yeah...i know i'm dating myself, but i remember buying bootlegs at record swaps and shelling out like $50 for something they wouldn't let you preview and then having it turn out to be shite. say what you will about the internet killing the revenue stream once garaunteed by physical record sales, but it sure has helped fans find the quality stuff!

  • @Putaspellonyou Thank God for bootlegs :)

  • @MegaPoone i kind of agree, but i really feel like the live album is kind of a dead idea. think about it, bands can released live DVDs pretty much every tour at considerably less cost than it used to take to put a live album out. U2 is one of the worst offenders of this (don't get me wrong, i love them all!!!) but it has the effect of diluting the impact of what a live album used to be.

  • Best Band Ever.

    Love this song.

  • @Radiomati I always say that Achtung Baby/Zooropa/Pop is U2's Kid A/Amnesiac, and U2's Joshua Tree is Radiohead's Ok Computer. Both made after having huge mainstream succes with their sound, a brilliant new style change in a more experimenting way, and some people didn't or still don't understand it, but I love them because of it. You have to innovate, or else the formula will work out. And I think U2 were at their musical peak in the 90's, but I also love their 80's and zeroes work to death.
