@thefivefamilies1 Operation Gothic Serpent was not a success because in order to get the helicopter pilot Durrant released they had to set free all there captives including the big fish Osman Otto. And the US didn't achieve any of it's political objectives either which was a stable somalia. The Somali civil war last till this day. And if i'am not mistaken the US is still waist deep in that conflict they just fired two missiles from drones just a few days ago.
