19 (Cover to Cover Version) - Paul Hardcastle

This is not the full version of Paul Hardcastle's 19, but it is the version found on his 'Cover to Cover' album.

This is a break away from the typical jazz scene I've uploaded from him, but it is important because this is where his roots in music truly are. Before he got into the contemporary jazz scene, Mr Hardcastle was big on the English dance pop scene, and this track along with 'Rain Forest' are some of his biggest musical pieces.

19 is indeed interesting, as it tells the story of the Vietnam War while leaving a powerful message about these types of wars in general. At the length the struggles in Iraq and Afghanistan have been thus far, this song may even be considered surprisingly relevant. Also, my birthday is on the 23rd of September, and since I am turning 19, I couldn't help but upload this song lol. Enjoy it!
