Presented by Linda Rath, Graduate Services Librarian at the Newman Library, this video excerpt introduces study rooms at Newman Library including graduate study carrels and group study rooms, both are available on a first come, first served basis. Graduate study carrels are located on the 4th floor in room 444, which contains 11 individual cubicles for quiet study. The library maintains 14 group study rooms. Seven rooms accommodate 6 to 8 persons and are equipped with a blackboard. An additional seven rooms may be used for groups of two and three Baruch students. Room availability can be checked out by CUNY+. Keys are charged out at the circulation/reserve desk.
