Nokia makes windows phone more awesome

@riddlethejoker Bahaha you silly cunt are you serious? Nokia Maps has been around for years. In fact, its been around since before Android was an operating system lol my word you stupid twat. You need to read up before opening your mouth. If anything, Google Maps stole the idea for OTA mapping off Nokia, who'd been doing it for years. Geeze. love Android, my phone is an SGS, but seriously, fanboys shut the fuck up. I have an old 5800 somewhere and the Sat Nav is better than ANY Android! Fact!!

Nokia stepping up big time

i would like to have available topographical maps. This would be very nice to combine driving maps and if you're on vacation (hiking, bicycling, moutainbike etc.) you could use topographical maps from navteq. (at best this feature costless, or as downloadable apps).

@cirkusarena OMFG they must be kidding!
why on earth would they want to ruin a product that is actually useful for those who travel???

@FedericoLov Wrong. Nokia maps on WP7 does not work without a data connection. It does on Symbian, but for some weird reason Nokia decided to step backwards with this version of drive. Even the most recent update (2 days ago) didn't include the promised offline navigation feature.
-
you got me there. but I've been using navigation on my android phone for over a year now. never really an issue where I can't get data connection unless it's in the mountains.
-
@premclement actually it does come with navigation. see: "google navigation"
it says it's in beta but it actually comes with every android phone already built in.

I'm very frustrated at the fact that the maps is different on all 3 OSs. Symbian version of the maps seems to be the best. The voice can dictate the names of the street, there's speed camera and everything. WP version seems to look ok, but the Meego version is utter crap compared to the symbian version. Why can't they just make every version of Maps like the Symbian version
hey whats happening everybody, I'm Noah and i don't have hair.
