@mbcyclery mr. beer kits are worthless if you want to get into the hobby of home brewing. they do make ok tasting beer, it's actually pretty good depending on the kit. but thats the issue, it's a kit. kit's are great to get an easy no worry good beer, but to be able to play around with different recipes is were home brewing becomes a real joy. mr beer works in the beginning do to it being cheap to start up, but the kits are way overpriced and in the long run mr. beer will cost a shit load more.

why not put it in a milk crate.... perhaps stick to mr. beer kits then??
