Blame It On My Youth - Kenny Rankin

Recorded in honor of his mom, these songs are out of the past, but fit so well in Rankin's unique style, like smooth flowing waterfall! Romantic, soothing jazz done with flair and stylistic touches...

This song was written by Edward Heyman (lyrics) and Oscar Levant (music) [1934]. This is a beautiful arrangement and performance. Kenny's recording is stunning.

I could listen to him all day. He was pure genius. I feel a sadness in my heart that his voice has been silenced, but am so grateful for the legacy of his recordings. The world is a better place for the blessing of Kenny Rankin's music.
No doubt he is entertaining the angels.
RIP, Kenny

The people marking "thumbs down" apparently have absolutely NO knowledge of the pure, genius of a musician, composer, singer Kenny Rankin was. Our loss on earth is heavens gain. Rest in Peace, Kenny, you were and will always remain the BEST.
