2011 Shadow Indoor Percussion - HAND OVER FIST

Our 2011 production, "Hand Over Fist," is an exploration of the emotional, figurative and visual interpretation of this common phrase. Sometimes it implies excess, but others, a struggle between harmony and discord. Are we constantly making a choice, whether metaphorical or literal, between approaching our challenges with the hand or being quick to use the fist?

Hand Over Fist features the music of the instrumental band Cougar: fast-paced, aggressive, nostalgic, and hook-laden, with ample opportunity for textural support and exploration of the theme.
