  • @fire9132 If you're talking about concert A, then its 440Hz, not 420

  • "modern" tuning is 440! 415 would be like semi-tone less.

    The viola da gamba is not a cousin or member of the violin family. it has arabic / mediteranean roots , fidel , vihuela..

  • @Trioptio Baroque tuning is A = 415 I believe and normal Tuning would be A = 420

  • that cello is tuned almost 1 tone below normal tuning! is that a barroque... thing?
