Don't Touch: ch. 33 pt. 1

[Kevin's POV]

That night, as I laid back on my pillow, I couldnt fight off the tugging at the end of my lips. I pulled the blanket over my body and positioned my hands behind my head with a contented sigh. Replaying todays events, the turn from depressing morning to happy ending, I was just that- content. I would be okay if things stayed the way they were now. As I lost interest in the ceiling, my eyelids shut and I fell asleep soon after.
When I woke up in the morning I was like a dog, lounging around the place, not doing much. My phone rang, pulling me out of my laziness.
"Yellow hello?" I answered it.
"Hey Kevo." Alli's voice rose from the other end.
"Did you want to play me in another epic Frogger battle?" I proposed. She gave a short chuckle in memory of our reunion.
"I want to, but I actually called to ask you for a huge favor..."
"What do you need me to do?"
"You see, Tom called me yesterday and invited me over tonight, but I have to watch Marie. My mom wont let me out of it so I figured I could drop her off at your house after my mom leaves, and pick her up before she gets back. Do you think you guys could watch her for just a couple of hours for me?"
After a few moments, I answered.
"Yeah, sure." I brushed my hand through my hair, fully aware that I was helping her sneak out to see the very man I despised. The very man who wasnt good enough for her. The very man I got in a fight with just two days ago.
"Thank you so much, Kevo. Maybe we can hang out a little before I take off."
"Yeah, thatd be great."
"Okay, Ill be over in about an hour, thanks again, bye."
"Bye," I said and we both hit the 'end' buttons, me hitting mine just a bit harder.

[Alli's POV]

"Come on, Marie! You take longer than anyone else I know," I yelled up the stairs at my younger sister.
"Calm down, Im coming!" she yelled back at the top of the staircase. I started walking towards the door as she trotted down the stairs and followed after me.
"Sorry for dropping you there," I apologized as we buckled up in my truck.
"Its fine," she said, but I knew my sister better than that.
"Maybe I should just stay with you... This isnt fair to you or the guys," I took my hands off the steering wheel and rested them on my seatbelt.
"No, really its fine. Start driving."
So I did.
"Are you going to be okay with them? I dont even think youve ever met them. This is such a bad idea."
"Al, its fine! Calm down. Youre really good friends with them, so I should get to know them."
"Im leaving you with high school guys you dont even know just so I can go see my boyfriend. Thats wrong of me."
"Just keep driving, its FINE."
With a roll of her eyes she turned them out the window. I sighed, not completely convinced with my decision. I trusted them though.
Well, maybe she can play with Frankie.

[Kevin's POV]

"Everyone come here, please!" I instructed, and soon my brothers showed up.
They all sat on the couch while I stood. I cleared my throat.
"Alli's bringing Marie here for us to baby-sit. Shes 12, shes Alli's sister, youre helping."
"That aint fair!" Frankie protested.
"Yeah, I dont want to watch her, you do it," Nick agreed with him.
"PLEASE, just help me here," I begged, interlocking my fingers and holding them up.
"Whats in it for us?" Joe inquired, crossing his arms across his chest.
"I dont know, Ill make you a cake or something, just please," I continued begging.
"Done." Joe answered.
I released a sigh of relief as there was a knock on the door. Making my way to the door, I heard the boys following. I opened the door and smiled, getting two back.
"Hey Kevo," Alli greeted me.
"Hi, come on in," I moved out of the way while the two girls walked inside the room. I shut the door and came to the group.
"Boys, this is my sister Marie," Alli started while gesturing to the shorter girl beside her. They all gave a little wave, and she returned the same. "This is Kevin, Joe, Frankie, and Nick," she introduced us by pointing.
"Why dont you four go watch TV or something?" I proposed and ushered them into the living room. Then me and Alli went into the kitchen to talk for a few minutes before she had to leave.
