A study of 544 star-forming galaxies observed by the Keck and Hubble telescopes shows that disk galaxies like our own Milky Way unexpectedly reached their current state long after much of the universe's star formation had ceased. Over the past 8 billion years, the galaxies lose chaotic motions and spin faster as they develop into settled disk galaxies.

The MRI machine at your hospital was invented by a physicist. GPS navigation wouldn't work without Einstein's Relativity. We wouldn't understand global warming half as well without the space program. Hurricane warnings & forecasting would be crap without satellites. The World Wide Web was invented by scientists at CERN. There'd be no Youtube on which to complain. You've benefited from space exploration & science research far more than u realize. Learn something before talking.

What would be the endpoint of the increasing organization? What would a galaxy look like billions of years down the line as it becomes more organized? Have there been any computer models?
