@TankIV silent hill has few games yet it is comparable to resident evil whch is ironic plus resident evil's story is always the same (with the exeption of 4) it's all about escaping but you wouldn't understand

Silent Hill is scarier and freakier Resident Evil is more action packed and crazy it all depends on your preference as a player not what does this or how this game is

first of all, haters, bitches silent hill has original stories not just shoot zombies run away and battle bosses, resident evil is cool but later on when they made the first remake it was obvious it took the feeling of a silent hill game plus silent hill is scarier, isn't that what we love the games for?

RE is just plain out fun with action but SH has a better story in my opinion and way more scarier. They're both great games but are very unique in their own way.

well I disagree with u my preference would also go with SH but to say that RE is not a survival-horror then u have missed a chapter my friend.RE was the pioneer in this field,no a such game have been made before it.But I completly agree about this so called survival-horror action game like RE4 or RE5 which only have the name but nothing else of a survival-horror.
Both game are good :RE more a Sci-fi story - SH darkness of the human mind(this why it make it more scarier)
