Unfortunately, he decided that Violetta shall be sung by Myrtò Papatanasiu. He doesn't like Dessì for the role, because, he says, she's "too old, and her body doesn't suit Violetta". I'm sooo angry!!!!!!!!

ahhhhh COSI, my first introduction to Dessi, she played the role pretty well, too bad she doesn`t do the role anymore. I suppose one has to move on and tackle heavier roles so it`s all good. She`s one of the few these days who can transmit so much emotion from her voice.

Yes, she´s a deserving singer with a long and wonderful career !! It´s a friendly gesture to give her a tribute, no doubt and appropriate to her achievements ! She sung so many different roles with great success- i like her Verdi singing very much. An outstanding Elisabetta in the famous Scala production in 1994- very moving :o))
