If you ask me about Islam

Having lived in Turkey for a few years, I learned that we all love God. Because there was no Catholic Church in Turkey (at that time), we heard Mass in a local restaurant, and a priest came by once a week. I also learned that we have more in common, than we have differences. Some local Turks, took us into their home to eat, even though they didn't have much food for themselves. Those simple people did more to promote world peace, than any politician ever could...

Let me claify what I posted about Mary. Catholics believe she was a perpetual virgin, meaning she did not lose her virginity before or after the birth if Jesus. She remained a virgin and still is in heaven. She is Queen of heaven and earth. Islam does not hold this to be true. The bible, as we know it today, was not officially in existence until the years 393- council of Hippo and 397 - the Council of Carthage, yet it did exist in the form of separate books that were taught to christians orally.
