@dlm2948 I cleaned them up. They're an old pair with a crack in sole so I don't have to worry about cleaning 'em up too good. Nice to have an old pair like that to mess in. Bought them at walmart about 7 years ago. Leather uppers and vinyl soles. But they've hung together pretty well. Wore them almost daily for 3 or 4 years. Really comfortable. Doubt I'd trash a good pair of loafers. If somebody wants to see me trash a nice pair, they'll have to buy me a replacement pair! Thanks for watching!
