  • @realvanman1 Yep, they go by the name cowl flaps. On the DC-3 usually closed while cruising, trailing while climbing or descending, and open while on the ground.

  • Those flaps that open up more around the engine right at the end- those are for controlling cooling air flow through the engine?

  • LOL Fail, apparently someone can't spell "HAY!"

  • sound from those two 14cylinder radials, just musical!
