GoodReader for iPad allows you to view documents and supports many file formats such as iWork, Office, PDF, JPEG and other image formats. It costs $1.99 in the app store and can handle huge files. It was able to load my 166MB PDF file with no trouble at all.

Also the possibility of protecting folders and individual files with password, or even protect the whole app with password when you open it. I have used GoodReader for a while and within the time, looking for apps to do several things like the ones I said, I later realized that I can do them with this neat app.

This app is, nowadays (version 3.13.0), probably the most complete and decent application on the AppStore. Its price is worth it. And I am a person that doesn't like buying programs or apps, but is a complete multi-format reader: music, videos, txt, doc, PDF, images, zip/unzip, serves as file manager, webpage downloader to read them offline... Really, it has a huge potential.
