  • What she is doing is perfectly acceptable. The ropes are soft ropes that will not hurt the horse, and if the critter spooks, there are no knots tied so it will have release resulting in no injury. Teaching the horse to yield its feet to the pressure of having its feet tied is invaluable in my opinion. From this the horse will more easily accept hobbles, and if its feet ever get entangled in anything dangerous it will not fight pressure but yield to it, decreasing chance of injury. Good job

  • @crazychicks4life53 instead of jumping to conclusions.... watch the full video.... the horse looks for a reward, and GETS ONE

  • I agree there ARE better ways to get a horse to laydown, but the horse doesnt seem too worried either...

  • Well behaved horse :)

  • Idiot!

  • chingon.. ustedss si saben como hacerlos saludar.. para que la pinche gente pendeja se divierta viendolos en una presentacion sin saber todo lo que se le tiene que hacer

  • Although I believe there are better mettods to teach the horse to lay down.

  • He doesn't seem to mind what she's doing, he seems relaxed...

  • What the hell are you doing !!!??? You can not even trust a horse by forcing it to do things! And you learn not fucking horse lie down so!!

  • @EquineUserName I don't think they would or not either. I know my horses limits when it comes to riding her and other stuff but not with these kinds of tricks, so I wouldn't try it by myself. I would get someone to help me and see or say if we could do it or not with her.:) I wouldn't risk hurting her. Ah, okay. I see now.:) Thank you for not getting too upset with me about my comment. I just didn't know and I still don't know about using the ropes. You are great with your horse. :)

  • @horseluverlol I don't think that the ropes would be painful, but I do think that if you don't know your horse enough to know if s/he'll stand for you to do this or not, it could end up being incredibly dangerous. BUT. I'm sure most people teaching this to their horse know their horse's limits. :) This is how I have seen it done by most people.

  • @EquineUserName Okay thank you for sending me another video. I've just been told that it is painful. I was just un-sure about the ropes.
