Congressman Erik Paulsen (MN-03) voted against the $780 billion dollar stimulus bill because of its lack of focus on job creation and helping get the economy back on track.
We need a stimulus bill that will put people back to work - one that preserves, protects and most importantly, creates jobs. But this big spending bill does not accomplish this, said Paulsen. Only 6% of the plan is aimed at infrastructure and 12% is aimed at job creation. This is a complete failure in priorities.
