  • Saw the Dan in1972 or 1973 in Mount Pleasant MI at CMU and again at the Beacon in NYC in 2011. I do not ever want them to stop creating and performing-they have and will continue to be a great source of my most memorable musical experiances. If you are reading this you know that Steely Dan is by far the most creative genre of music in the last 40 years. Please plan another tour!

  • Hard to believe people are walking around during this song. Oh well, I guess it doesn't mean the same to them as to me. Totally evocative of Rose Darling and Sail The Waterway (IMHO). Thanks for posting this.

  • @Purotorrion Walt Weiskopf. GREAT player!

  • your right, and it hurts

  • Never thought I would hear this song live! Thanks from the very bottom of my heart! Steely Dans most emotional tune, despite the quality of the recording, it was much above what I was expecting, especially because the sax player! I wonder who that is!

  • Great audio quality! Best ever!

  • nice job. great song. thanks for posting it!!

  • I really hpe they make a blu Ray edition of this tour. Such a great band, so well prepared and inspired. I was glad to be able to see them live at least once in my life.

  • And speaking of being free of deathsticks, during the outro on all your dr. wu's, when the spot comes down on Carlock, it looks like a thermite or magnesium ignition. Talk about a band being on fire...
