    In this case Lester Bangs, if accurately quoted, doesn't know jack. The Raspberries had one of the most unique sounds in pop/rock. If there were any similarities at all I might agree that some of their guitar licks, a very few, might have sounded like Badfinger but not enough to warrant mention in print or on tv. They definitely earned respect for wonderfully original songs. Always the sign of a bad reviewer when their reviews have to resort to making comparisons to other existing groups.

    The host was a REAL DICK for unnecessarily bringing up SHITTY, off the mark reviews. That was like 'Spinal Tap:' " Shark Sandwich was more like shit sandwich" - The band was AWESOME fuck reviews like that. STUPID.
