Oz & Abby the Palm Beach Zoo's Queensland's Koalas

The Palm Beach Zoo is excited to present Oz & Abby, two of the newest members of our furry, feathered and scaly family! Koalas love to do two things: eat and sleep! They can sleep upwards of 18-20 hours a day so we wanted to share some video of them actually moving and awake!

Oz & Abby have made the Palm Beach Zoo their new home in response to a request from the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA) Species Survival Plan (SSP) for koalas. The mission of an AZA SSP Program is to manage and conserve a select and typically threatened or endangered ex situ species population.
