i thought the set was, rather than being positively great, at least not terrible- the set WORKED for me, it was, if you will, m' employee. the guests were all very loquacious and informed and were humourous, a trend which has its roots in debate-style shows of the late 1960's. the questions were general and accessible and worked on so many levels i couldn't hazard a guess at the sum total of levels on which they worked...

@Shanniquitie It's not the belief in the "dignity of human beings" that's "prehistoric" and ridiculous. It's believing that something so important and huge can even be touched by something like a product of imagination. Imagined things are not real. Human beings are. The days when fantasy and imagination were considered "dumb" and "mind killing" are gone. And that is where most of her opinions seemed to be coming from. Violence doesn't distract from all living, it's a factor of it.

kevin smith has some talent, so do the rest of them. but he's hardly written anything so great as her.
