"Volcano Lovers" Artist Talk part 7: on Hreinn Friðfinnsson

Birta Guðjónsdóttir, the curator, talks about the works by Hreinn Friðfinnsson, the Icelandic artist, "Summer Nights" (1990), "Correspondence (diptych)" (1996) and "Afterthought" (2001-2002) in "Volcano Lovers - From Iceland and Japan."

"Volcano Lovers - From Iceland and Japan" is on view at Ise Cultural Foundation, NY gallery from November 13, 2009 to January 2, 2010. The opening reception on November 13, 2009, 6 - 8 pm. The Artist Talk on November 14, 2009, 2 - 4 pm.

The exhibition, curated by Birta Guðjónsdóttir and Shinya Watanabe, features four Icelandic artists and four Japanese artists: Hildur Bjarnadóttir, Hreinn Friðfinnsson, Guðný Rósa Ingimarsdóttir, Haraldur Jónsson; Noriko Ambe, Atsushi Saga, Katsuhiro Saiki, Yuken Teruya.
