My commentary on the ATF gunwalking scandal, the U.S. government encouraging the illegal transfer of U.S. guns to Mexico, the White House defending Obama's selection of General Electric CEO Jeffrey Immelt as the head of the President's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness and TEPCO's retraction of a extremely high radiation report at Japanese nuclear plant.

  • @Eaks2215 I don't want to hear some bullshit about how "they are in business to make money." If small businesses have to pay taxes, these war profiteers should pay just like everyone else.

"GE is a global business, not your mom & pop shop." Yet, they exploit US resources to make money and don't want to pay taxes.

"GE has broken no laws or regulations," Well of course they haven't broken any laws, because they spend big bucks on politicians who make the law in their favor.

  • Your are my personal news guru. Honestly your brilliant.

  • @93tiny08 Thanks.

  • Yeah, those reactors are smoking hot!

  • @skeeveskeeve The country declined because the unions of today only fight for tax dollars. What happened to all the Union companies of the 50's they went bankrupt because the unions kept wanting more just like they want more tax dollars. You can only take so much from a business before it goes belly up. Unions and the members of unions can all suck my dick you are thieves in the night looking to get paid more for less work. You are the reason America died.

  • @sniper71267 So, this is the fault of the Unions? Is there anything you people won't try to blame on unions? Meanwhile, I am guessing that you would probably benefit from being in a union. Conservatives always harken back to the time when America was strongest, back in the 50's, back when union membership was at its peak. When the corporations were finally able to break the back of the unions and cause their decline, so too did the country decline.

    Google it.

  • "who do you trust more, New York Times or GE?".

Is that a trick question? Believe me, the NYT is NOT on your side.

  • The US Constitution was et up so that only corporations were to pay taxes. Our labor got turned into something taxable and that was not the lawful. The intention of our law, our Constitution, was that only corporations paid taxes.Don't believe me, research it.Tax on our labor is unlawful, meaning the "income tax" that is supposedly voluntary is unlawful.I recently read only 47% of American's pay the unlawful income tax as the rest are too poor.More than half of us are living in poverty.Sad&tragic.

  • How far away is mcdonals anyways!

  • It is becoming apparent that GE, rather than "bringing good things to life", has a unique ability to cozy up to government, massage regulations and bring dangerous toxins into our lives---and I mean seriously dangerous. It makes no economic sense; mining, refining, milling and transporting uranium. It requires huge amounts of fossil fuels; and, it produces the most insidious and deadly toxins ever created.

  • @DEMCAD Come on DEMCAD, what does the ATF's ridiculous policy have to do with the arguments of gun control. There is no disputing that the United States in fueling the drug wars in Mexico and now increasingly spreading into central and south America with our guns. That is an undisputable fact. Yes, this ATF policy was pretty stupid, although the aim was to follow these guns to the big fish, the distribution centers for cartel weapons but there's no connection to a failure in gun control ideology

  • @DEMCAD The original radiation levels test got a false reading (which actually happens fairly often) and instead of sticking around to take another test, the workers booked it for a decontamination shower when they saw that big number :) Seriously, that's what happened

  • Another negative for tax sucking unions. Both GE and ATF both are ran by Unions who fight for your hard earned tax dollars and then lie to you. Time for unions to fall in America. Especially the ones fighting for tax dollars. Yes GE is a privately owned corp. who gets their money from government and where does government get its money from the poor man because the rich dont pay taxes they write everything from their kids birthday parties to the sex habits off as business expenses.
