Novus Festivus was the first event held at Britannia Faire, and begins the spinning of this LARP'ing Centers tale....

For the first time in a thousand years a small sliver of the impassable veil between the Elven Kingdom and Lands of Britannia has fallen away....as rumors of Elves slipping into the realm of man grow an envoy is sent form the Crown City to meet them. With his Majesty hard pressed on other borders, the King can scarcely afford another area of conflict. Duncan Strongstorm; High Ambassador to the King is given strict instructions, "....meet these Elves with open arms, but also caution...we need allies, but we need not look weak in the doing so..." A site was chosen, The Broken Spoke Tavern had stood for millennium, almost as long as the sign post at the crossroads known as Britannia Faire! The Spoke was to be the place for this parlay, for the Faire had always been a site of peaceful trade despite the centuries of violence at its nearby border....this was to be the start of a new found truce between hard old enemies....and all looked to go well, until Duke Weasely Hedgefox, the Kings "favorite" Nephew dispatches himself, and his band of misfit Men-at-arms to deal with these newcomers in his own way.....

Britannia Faire is is located near the Monroe Lake Wilderness Area on the frontier border of Jerusalem, Ohio. Spread over 50 acres of privately owned, untouched wilderness, we are a campground for live action role-playing, music festivals, youth group gatherings, corporate retreats and all sorts of other unique events . Please email us for more information at brittaniafaire@gmail.com, we'd love to collaborate in hosting your next outdoor adventure!

Some locals say its a very weird place but i love weird places. People normally say things are weird that they have no knowledge of. Is this only a seasonal affair only? Are there buildings there?
