Shop24 is a networked automated convenience store that is as reliable as an ATM machine and which provides consumers with a wide selection of product choices (with up to 220 distinct product facings and 2000 total products).
Shop24 is able to administer transactions involving a wide range of items. From a half-gallon of milk, to a toothbrush, Shop24 can vend any item up to 7 1/2 pounds in size in a "self-retail" environment. Shop24's product portfolio also includes traditional fresh and chilled grocery products as well as items you would find in a typical convenience store products -- all are consumer ready and attractively displayed behind bullet-proof safety glass. The product facings can be tailored to suit the consumers of each Shop24 site.
Consumers are able to purchase products with cash, a bankcard, or any other magnetic strip technology by entering the product code on an interactive screen where they have the ability to create a "Shopping List". The vending mechanism collects the product and delivers it to the 'take-out' gate all within 20 seconds.
