Dominic Longhurst (12 years old) performs Willow Echoes for the Blue Mountains Concert Society on 15 November 2008. The piece was composed by Frank Simon, the lead cornet player in the John Phillip Sousa band. Simon wrote the piece as a tribute to the solos he played in the Willow Garden Concerts. He is accompanied by Janette Norcotte.

  • Excited to play this on my euphonium!

  • Great Guy on Trumpet! Respekt!

  • very nice! I have been playing cornet for 8 years. I love it!

  • sounds great, little more air support

  • What Dominic lacked in perfection, he compensated with bravura. Props to him for playing the piece from memory, and for blowing on through a couple of rough spots. That is what being "a musician" is about.

  • The person that dilikes this need help!!! He very good!

  • sounds quality is amazing great job :)

  • @skoobygt

  • Cute!

  • Impressive Dominic. No doubt you have a bright playing future ahead of you if you stick with it.
