PDQ Laserwash G5 S-Series car wash running with Gator Wax chemical products.
Gator Wax is some local (but HOW local?) company. Here's my description and review of their stuff:
Whatever the heck is in the rocker panel blast/undercar: Kinda smelly. I have my sneaking suspicion this is actually Bug Buster... or similar?
Presoak: A nice pine scent, good foaming action and cling, excellent cleaning.
Tri-Color Foaming Wax: Bubblegum scented protectant, goes on satisfyingly thick and takes a while to rinse down. It appears to be silicone based. Between it and the clear coat protectant, it lasts about two weeks with moderate to heavy rain.
Clear Coat Protectant ("Super Sealer"): Sorta smells like vanilla bubblegum, if that makes any sense. Alone, this lasts about one week. It provides a good beading/drying action. It's applied from the cleaning nozzles on the L-arm of the machine in what seems to be sort of a medium pressure mode, so it gets on everything - belts, brake linings, etc. It doesn't last very long there, thankfully - I've had the Ecolab Velocity Clear Coat make an alternator belt slip for a WEEK before.
Video format: 3GPP2, taken on a Samsung SCH-R650 "Messager II". Nice phone, but the tethering hack I wrote up in the current issue of 2600 doesn't work on it.... yet?
Well, the Clean n' Go Car wash in Port Orange uses Gator Wax Foaming conditioner (which is white) and Clear Coat Wax.

Isn't Gator Wax from somewhere in southwest or west-central Florida? I forget. I remember reading it off the barrel at one point...

i know, that pump is VERY loud, made me jump when it started, this unit we have here, seems like the nozzles are gonna rip my car apart.... they seem so abusive, are they?

Not really. They're "Turbo Nozzles", which emit a small narrow jet of water, directed by a rotating spindle. They can be used for some pretty scary industrial cleaning, but the pressure's turned down on the Laserwash to make it safe for vehicle surfaces. The rotating action causes all that weird noise. The weird thing sounds like there are at least three, if not four, different pumps. The one that powers the 'productivity rinse' nozzles is louder than the one that powers the fartnozzles!
