Why Healthcare Reform Will Fail

The GOP wants to scare us into thinking that healthcare reform is going to fail because people will have to wait months to see a doctor, fill out hours worth of paperwork, and receive less care in their version of a Socialist-style healthcare system. While they're right about it failing, they're wrong about the how. Mike Papantonio of Air America's Ring of Fire takes on the folks over at Fox Business' Happy Hour to tell them what we should really fear from the new healthcare bill.

LOL, Papantonio badmouths at both democrats and republicans, and the "objective" FOX reporters slam him about him and defend the republicans, hahahaha. However, Papantonio is right about the prices... The pharmaceutical companies are not necessarily taking most of the booty, in reality, hospitals and insurance companies have grown together to screw the patient (yes, all of us).

Well hold on, your situation is a bit different. . My take on your situation is you work for the hospital, use their tools and should be salaried. I dont believe you should have a practice in that environment. Im only really discussing basic health care, out patient type stuff. Doctor who run a business soley on their own, pedeling drugs and not being very effective at their service. You, in your environment I have a totally different take on and I respect what the law says you have to do.

You are getting off on a wild tangent. I work in the emergency room. 80% of the people I see never pay their bill. Gang violence, drunk drivers, intentional overdose/suicide attempts and drug seekers are half of my business and those people don't pay. We see them anyway. I have never turned anyone away because of inability to pay. None of those people have a right to my services. Your preposterous assertion that they do is simply poorly thought out feel good nonsense.

really,. Im speechless. You obviously like evry other doctor just let your office manager run that part of the biz. You should really tale a looksy at your billing system and see how everything goes down after a patient has seen you. Think about the average salary and expense a regular joe has and whats left to come see you.. Look at how many of your patients pay with a credit card vs a check. Cost are out of control! And the service really sucks, for the most part.

Right to your labor? Not exactly the way you see it. What I meant was in this day in age as a citizen of the most powerful country on this planet I think no one should have to worry about healthcare. How you get compensated is for the politicians, greedy corp america to figure out. I dont think healthcare should really be a wallstreet business. That does not include unnecessary cae like plastic surgery etc. I would rather pay moe taxes then to see people lose life,everything they've ever workd 4
