@Thunderhour a big muff fuzz of electro harmonix, a ds-2 of boss, and the whawha is an Ibanez, i don't know what model is.

@Thunderhour well its a combo of the effects u listed, his vintage marshal amps, his 1968? (really vintage) fender strat and MOST of all his PLAYING!... i read some interview were johns tech was talking about him saying that sound has HEAPS do do with playing and that he has heard other people playing johns rig and it sounds nothin alike and also that john sounds like john no matter what guitar, amp, or effects he is using.
