This documentary was featured as part of an exhibit on peoples of the Asian steppe at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Production was made possible through a Fulbright Hays grant and the University of Pittsburgh Honors College with assistance from the Pitt Asian Studies program and Carnegie Museum of Natural History.
This film enjoyed three months of presentation at the Carnegie Museum, as well as a silver Telly award for cultural programming, a special screening at the Musée de l'Homme in Paris, and acceptance into the Autrans International Mountain Film Festival in France.
It was shot and edited by Nicholas Lindner and produced by Dr. Sandra Olsen of the Carnegie Museum of Natural History.
