Adored this movie since i was 12 when i rented it and became a fan of BR as it has became my fave movie since including owning both unrated and director's cuts on video, by 2008 when i got my Blu-ray player this was my first blu-ray. I'm a huge fan of this movie so much i even own a poster in my room since 16 and a book on it.

bladerunner is not only an amazing movie (and my favorite) but it also has one of the best scores for any movie. every scene matches up with the vangelis. amazing.

Doesn't Many US, Canadian and Australian cities, East Asian cities with its large urban populations especially on a rainy day which have really tall skyscrapers have a Blade Runner feel to it?
This video and soundtrack is very appropriate.

@thefatman69dude Spot on

I lit my cigarette looking out from my balcony that sweet smell of sin in the big city made me realize just how worn out i was over this job. Those deaths and tragic ends of people lives captured in photos and reports as if some sort of a horrible experiment. And this city just passes on without even looking back. I used to think i could block these things out of my head. But i guess there is only so much shots of vodka and whiskey can cure. Shit i said to myself I have the blues again.

@fluffythecat2 yeah every once in a while. this movie is just one of this films that changed my life as kid when I saw it. It completely opened my eyes to the idea of love and excepting someone for who they are and the philosophical stand point of the ghost in the machine. In the life of a detective solving crimes in a world of uncertainty and the one constant question....am I a machine? love is the only certainty that and beauty, i try to watch this movie once a week. It inspires me lol
