  • Great, informative video. My favorite reenacting gun, both for it's looks and versatility. Btw, and meaning no disrespect, the period correct pronunciation is "fewzee duh-chahsah."

  • was wondering if i could get some info on it

  • This is a great video, I just got mine but have yet to shoot it because I have not received the round ball and bullet mold I just ordered from track of the wolf. The barrel on mine is 44 inches long and the muzzle measures out at .601 so I ordered .575 round ball. keep up the good work, very educational video

  • Nice video. I love the Fusil de Chasse. I built mine from a Pecatonica parts set. While the FdC may have been traded to the Indians, it is not regarded as a trade gun, i.e. a cheaply made gun manufactured specifically for trade to the Indian. It was a hunting gun - the gun of the French milice, and the common man.

  • what kinda groupings do you get ? and whats the max you shoot? What would it be like at say 40-50 yards max? great vid.thanks
